Miquel Mont
Born in 1963 in Barcelona (Spain).
Lives and works in Paris.

Spanish artist José Manuel Broto introduced Miquel Mont to the shop in 1995. Since then, we have collaborated regularly, combining traditional methods with experimental techniques, as in Mono Tones and Désirs troués, two series of woodcuts that incorporate collages of “low” elements such as poor-quality photocopies. In 2016, we produced a playful image, very different for Mont: 12 drawings in which he imagined record covers for albums by his favourite bands.
